Week 20 was a intresting week for shipmovements in the port of Den Helder.
below a impression of some of the visitors.
After almost a year for maintenance in Zeebrugge the hnlms Makkum returned to Den Helder on 25-03-2012.
On 24-03-2012 the navytug Gouwe made the towingconnection for the voyage to Den Helder.
By coincidence witnessed an engine failure of the dutch beamtrwler HD 4 in the harbour of Den Helder.
By the rapid response of the navytug Gouwe the HD 4 could be delivered to the fishauction.
Ben van Kuringen(www.instructieopmaat.nl) was on the water during the engine faillure and also took some pictures.
Mondaymorning HMS v.Amstel departed from Den Helder navalbase for a journey to Somalië.
There she will participate to operation Atalanta...a anti piracy operation.

Keppel Verolme shipyard at Rotterdam.
